Example of Scoring for a Match
Let’s say your player wins a match 6-4, 6-3 in a regular ATP tournament. Here’s how the points break down:
- Game Wins: 4 games won in the first set, 3 games won in the second = 7 points.
- Set Wins: 2 sets won = 4 points.
- Match Win: 1 match won = 5 points.
- Total: 7 (game wins) + 4 (set wins) + 5 (match win) = 16 points for your team.
